WEST LIBERTY — The Ohio Heritage Conference track and field championships concluded at West Liberty-Salem on Thursday, with the host Tigers winning on the girls’ side with 148 points, well ahead of second-place Greeneview (117). Mechanicsburg was sixth and Triad was 10th. For the boys, West Liberty-Salem was third, Mechanicsburg was seventh and Triad was 10th.
Winning events in the girls’ competition were the WLS 4×100 relay team, Lydia Moell (WLS, high jump, pole vault), Jenna Magnuson (WLS, shot put), Shannon Barch (MHS, discus) and Janie Kopus (WLS, high jump).
