MECHANICSBURG- On December 6th, the Northwestern Boys and girls bowling teams traveled to Mechanicsburg to take on the Indians in a dual match. In the first round for the Girls, Mechanicsburg turned in team scores of 847 and 900 to post a 1747. Northwestern posted team scores of 775 and 831 for a 1606. After 4 games of baker, the Burg girls outscored the Warriors 681 to 648 and the Burg girls took the match 2428 to 2254. Medalist for the match was Ally Hosier (Mechanicsburg) with a 401 two games series.
In JV action, the Mechanicsburg girls beat the Warriors 1881 to 1694. The high score for their match was Amanda Coulter with a 380 Series. On the Boys side, the Indians put up scores of 984 and 930 to lead the Warriors going into the baker games 1914 to 1809. In aker, the boys from the Burg kept it going with a baker 4 game total of 712 to Northwestern 656 which lead The Indians to victory 2626 to 2465. The Medalist for the match was Mechanicsburg's Jake Ripley with a 194 and 256 a 450 Series. In Boys JV action the Indians scored a clean sweep with a victory 1860 to 1801 with Sheldon Adams knocking down a 175 and 180 for a 355 total series. The Indians will be back in action on Thursday Dec 8th in a Triangular match with Urbana and Coldwater at Southwest Lanes in Urbana.
