URBANA --On a hot, humid day last week I traveled northeast from Dayton to Urbana, where the high school looks like an imposing fortress sitting up high on a hill in the middle of a neighborhood.
With the Hillclimbers breaking in their third new coach in five seasons, here are five things to know about Urbana football:
Graham’s boys basketball team hasn’t finished above .500 in the last four seasons, but new head coach Nathan Warner believes the program can be one of the area’s best again in a short time.
Warner was introduced as the team’s new coach during a meeting on Monday morning at the school. He succeeds Julian Grasso, who resigned late last spring. The school district also announced on Wednesday former Fairlawn coach Randy Tyler is taking over the girls basketball program.
ST. PARIS – Graham High School has hired new boys and girls basketball coaches.
Nathan Warner is now the head varsity boys basketball coach.
Warner comes to Graham from Northeastern High School where he coached the previous two seasons. At Northeastern, Warner took over a program that went 17-73 the previous three years and created a winning atmosphere with a 25-23 mark in his two years with the Jets.
